Royal Kona Resort Wedding
Kona Beachside Wedding
It was the day she had always dreamed about. The day she would finally be united with her partner in life. All throughout the day, Ginna was shedding tears of joy and happiness. She knew her time had finally come, and she was marrying the man of her dreams. Wearing a beautiful lacy dress adorned with a sparkling accent belt, Ginna looked absolutely radiant as she shined down the aisle while Travis beamed at his soon to be bride. These two had waited for years to finally meet each other, but once these two joined hands at the altar, everyone knew it was worth the wait.
The Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple was where Ginna's parents had gotten married many years before. In honor of their family, the bride and Groom decided to hold the ceremony at the temple, where they could keep and honor this tradition with the rest of the family. Ginna had always mentioned how close she was with her mother and it was such a delight to find out that Ginna's mother was her matron of honor. Just like her daughter, Naomi had such a cheerful and contagious smile which everyone can instantly feel every time they enter a room. Travis was noticeably at ease, often smiling and laughing while amongst his best friends while they joined him on his special day. Family and friends, for both Ginna and Travis, were a major focus of their wedding. Their amazing "Ohana" bridal party was so supportive in making sure things ran smoothly that you knew this was a family that always took care of each other.
Even on a voggy Hawaiian day, the beautiful white and pink colors of the bridal party kept the light bright and fun for the whole wedding. The bridesmaids lovingly made sure the bride's veil was being carried and adjusted the train of her dress so she always looked perfect. Things got especially sweet and cute between their fun spirited flower girl and their "ring security" ring bearer in front of the camera. In addition to being on the Groom's ring, Cowboy Joe, the University of Wyoming mascot even made an appearance on the men's socks, which brought a lot of chuckles for the groomsmen while they showed a little ankle. "White socks go with dark pants and shoes, right?"
With the large wedding reception at the Royal Kona Resort looking over the ocean at the beautiful Alii Surf Room, thousands of bubbles were blowing constantly in the air while children ran around popping them. A wonderful Hawaiian wedding with views at the heart of Kona while family and friends dined to the live music of Poncho man, rocking away on his ukulele and singing his heart out over the waves.
Ginna and Travis have matching personalities of caring and nurturing for others. Even on the their wedding day, they were always checking to make sure that everyone was comfortable and taken care of. They are the type of couple that will take care of each other and love unconditionally, no matter the situation. The type of couple that was always meant to be. Congratulations, Ginna and Travis! Your love will be remembered and cherished for all time.
